The Al-Qassim Region of Saudi Arabia is located in the heart of the country and is one of its 13 administrative regions. It covers a total area of 65,000 square kilometers and has a population of over 2.5 million people. The region is known for its vast expanses of desert and lush date palm groves, as well as several small villages, towns, and cities.

Tourists to the Al-Qassim Region can explore many cultural sites such as historic Buraydah City, Al-Mubarraz Village, which has a preserved fort from the 1500s; or Kabra Palace which was built in 1745. There are also two UNESCO World Heritage Sites located in this region: Hail's Historic Mudbrick City and Dir'iyyah - both are great places to explore ancient architecture and learn about traditional Arab culture.

Lastly, Al-Qassim Region is home to an interesting historical fact: it was once the birthplace of Ibn Saud - founder of modern day Saudi Arabia - who was born in Riyadh in 1880. This makes it a unique destination for visitors interested in learning more about Saudi Arabia's vibrant history.
