Anse-aux-Pins is a province of Seychelles, located on the eastern coast Mahe island. It is one of the least populated regions in Seychelles but full of rich culture and incredible scenery. Anse-aux-Pins has some gorgeous beaches, lush rainforest and crystal blue waters making it an ideal destination for tourists seeking a peaceful getaway. Popular tourist attractions include Beau Vallon Beach which offers stunning views and excellent snorkeling opportunities; or take a trip to Port Launay Marine National Park for beautiful coral reefs as well as sea turtles, stingrays, and giant clams. The history of Anse aux Pins dates back to 1784 when it was first developed by English planters as an agricultural area with cotton plantations; today the region still retains its fascinating colonial feel with old plantation houses nestled among coconut palms and other tropical vegetation.
