Visit Anse Boileau


Anse Boileau is a small village located on the southwestern coast of Mahe, the largest island in Seychelles. The population of this seaside village sits at just over 2,000, making it a quaint place to visit and explore. Anse Boileau is known for its pristine beaches, including Anse au Bois de Rose Beach and La Plaine St Andre Beach. Both spots offer excellent views of the crystal blue Indian Ocean and provide a great spot to relax and soak in some vitamin D.

For those interested in history, Anse Boileau also houses some interesting historical sites such as La Misere Slave Monument which was erected to commemorate those who escaped slavery during French colonial rule. As well as the ruins of Saint Anne's Church that was built in 1771 by infamous pirate Jean Francois Hodoul are still standing today.
