Visit Bel Ombre

Bel Ombre is a town located on the south coast of Mahe, the main island in the Seychelles archipelago. It is known for its lush vegetation, stunning beaches and beautiful resorts. Visitors to Bel Ombre can explore several nature reserves such as Morne Seychellois National Park, where they can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, and Baie Ternay Marine National Park which provides a perfect spot for snorkeling and swimming.

In addition to its natural beauty, Bel Ombre has interesting historical sites worth visiting, including Mission Lodge which was built in 1825 and served as a mission station for Christian missionaries. The mission still stands today and visitors can explore its chapel and other relics preserved from colonial times.

Finally, no visit to Bel Ombre would be complete without exploring Anse La Reunion Beach. This secluded beach is accessible only by foot through a forest path from Grand Anse Beach but provides magnificent views of crystal clear waters lapping against white sands - making it well worth the effort!
