Visit La Digue

La Digue is a small island and district of the Seychelles located in the Indian Ocean off the north-east coast of Africa. It is one of the most visited islands in the Seychelles, with stunning beaches backed by lush, tropical vegetation and dramatic granite formations. Popular tourist attractions on La Digue include Anse Source d'Argent beach, often referred to as one of the world's most beautiful beaches, Grand Anse beach which boasts crystal clear waters and white sand, and Veuve Nature Reserve where visitors can observe giant tortoises in their natural environment.

Historically there were three villages on La Digue up until 1756 when an epidemic resulted in two villages being abandoned leaving only La Passe surviving today. With its laid back atmosphere and gentle pace of life La Digue offers a unique insight into traditional life in this idyllic corner of paradise.
