Visit La Rivière Anglaise

The La Riviere Anglaise, located in the Seychelles archipelago off the coast of East Africa, is a stunning combination of lush vegetation and crystal clear turquoise waters. Tourists come to this tropical paradise to enjoy its white sandy beaches, vibrant coral reefs and abundance of diverse wildlife.

One must-see attraction is the Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve on Praslin Island. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to some of the world's oldest palm trees - the iconic Coco de Mer palmtree - as well as five endemic species and a variety of birds, orchids, and other flora and fauna.

St. Anne Marine National Park near Mahe Island also offers a wealth of activities such as snorkeling, glass-bottom boat trips for viewing fish, turtles and coral gardens. The park also houses an interesting historical monument - L'Union Estate House which was built in 1778 during French colonial rule over Seychelles by slave labour from Madagascar. It is said to be one of Seychelles' oldest constructions still standing today!
