Maho Beach, situated in the city of Simpson Bay in Sint Maarten, is a must-see attraction for its unique proximity to the Princess Juliana International Airport. The beach is famously known for its thrilling experience as incoming jets fly over it, just a few feet above the heads of beachgoers. This spectacle makes it one of the most photographed beaches in the world.
While visiting Maho Beach, aside from the airplane watching, you can also enjoy the beautiful crystal-clear waters and the stunning sunset views. Nearby, there’s the Sunset Bar and Grill, a popular spot for tourists to grab a drink and watch the planes. Additionally, the Maho Village nearby is a hub for nightlife, shopping, and dining, making your visit to Maho Beach a complete package of entertainment and relaxation.
