Visit Bratislavský

Bratislavsky, located in western Slovakia on the Danube River, is a beautiful city full of history and charm. With its cobblestoned streets and grand architecture, it has a unique and inviting atmosphere. Tourists can explore the Old Town where many churches and other historic buildings remain from centuries ago, or take a stroll along the Danube's waterfront promenade. One must-see tourist location is the Bratislava Castle overlooking the city. It was built in the 9th century and served as residence to Hungarian kings for centuries before becoming Slovakia's presidential palace. Another popular spot is St Martin's Cathedral which dates back to 1221 when it was used as one of Europe's coronation sites for Hungarian kings; most notably Maria Theresia who went on to become one of Austria's greatest rulers. An interesting fact about Bratislava is that it has two official languages - Slovak and Hungarian - with both languages spoken by almost half of its population today!
