Visitors to this area can explore historic towns and castles such as Bojnice Castle and Beckov Castle. The town of Trencin itself offers a fantastic view of Trencin Castle built on a limestone cliff above the city.

One popular destination for visitors to the region is Povazsky Inovec Mountain Range, offering spectacular views over Lake Vah, several villages and small towns. Other attractions include hiking trails and caves such as Dubrava Cave in Ostry Kamen village.
