Visit Northern Cape

The Northern Cape is the largest and most sparsely populated province of South Africa. It is known for its vast, rugged landscape and incredible biodiversity. One of the best places to visit in this province is Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, where you can view some of South Africa's most iconic wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Augrabies Falls National Park is also a must-see tourist destination where visitors can marvel at the dramatic 55m-high waterfall located on the Orange River.

For history buffs, there is no shortage of interesting sites to visit in the Northern Cape. Kimberley was once home to one of South Africa's biggest diamond mines during the 19th century and it now serves as a reminder of those tumultuous times and how far South Africa has come since then. Those interested in anthropology should definitely check out Wonderwerk Cave which boasts evidence that humans have been living in this part of the world for two million years!
