Visit Jeonnam
Jeonnam is a province located in the Southwestern part of South Korea. It has plenty of natural attractions such as Gwangyang Bay, Jirisan National Park and Mudeungsan Provincial Park. Located along the coast, Jeonnam offers stunning beaches and many cultural attractions that visitors can explore. The capital city of Jeonju is also an interesting place to visit with its traditional hanok (Korean style) homes and colorful markets.
If you are looking for some adventure, you can go horseback riding at Maengsan Horse Ranch or take a cruise on the Nakdong River while admiring Mt Jiri's beautiful landscape. One historical fact about this province is that it was once part of the ancient kingdom called Gaya which existed from 42-532AD in what we now call Jeonnam today. There are numerous temples to explore here including Hwaeomsa Temple which is one of Korea's most famous temples built by Silla Dynasty in 544 AD making it over 1400 years old!
