Gyeongbokgung Palace is located in Seoul, South Korea and is a must-see for any visitor to the city. The palace was first built in 1395 and has served as the main royal palace for many centuries. It is a beautiful complex of buildings, pavilions, gardens and courtyards that have been meticulously preserved. There are several main attractions at Gyeongbokgung Palace such as Geunjeongmun Gate with its impressive stone archway and intricate stone carvings; Heungnyemun Gate which was restored in 2006; Gwanghwamun Gate which is the largest gatehouse in South Korea; and lots of other palaces including Bogwangjeon Hall - the grandest of them all! Don't forget to also enjoy some traditional Korean music performances while you're there! -

Jogyesa (Jogye Temple) is the chief temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. The building dates back to the late 14th century and became the order's chief temple in 1936. It thus plays a leading role in the current state of Seon Buddhism in South Korea. The temple was first established in 1395, at the dawn of the Joseon Dynasty; the modern temple was founded in 1910 and initially called "Gakhwangsa". The name was changed to "Taegosa" during the period of Japanese rule, and then to the present name in 1954. -

The War Memorial of Korea is a museum located in Seoul, South Korea. It commemorates and preserves the history of the Korean War, as well as other wars involving the nation. Visitors can explore an extensive collection of artifacts related to various wars in which South Korea has participated, including weaponry, uniforms, photographs and more. The main exhibition hall is divided into four sections that cover different themes such as modern warfare technology, military medical services and patriotic spirit.
The memorial also has an outdoor area that includes sculptures depicting aspects of war as well as monuments for soldiers who sacrificed their lives for their country in battle. There are also several aircraft on display including helicopters and fighter jets from different eras. Allow yourself some time to take it all in - for a truly immersive experience visitors can even try on combat costumes from World War II or even have a ride on a restored tank from the 1950s!
