Visit Ulsan


Ulsan, South Korea is a vibrant city located in the southeast of the country. It's home to a variety of tourist attractions and cultural experiences, including Ulsan Grand Park, Buk Banseong Fortress, and Ulsan Bridge. The Ulsan Grand Park is known for its beautiful gardens and many species of birds and animals. Buk Banseong Fortress is an ancient relic that was built during the Joseon dynasty to protect against invasion by Japan. This fortress is also known for its amazing architecture with walls reaching as high as 10 meters tall.

Ulsan Bridge connects the two sides of Ulsan which are separated by Nakdong River. It was opened in 1943 and has become one of Ulsan's most popular tourist attractions due to its magnificent view over the river.

An interesting fact about this city is that it was historically called Mulyeong-gun after being founded in 1448 by King Sejong of Joseon Dynasty . It was later renamed "Ulsangun" under Korean Empire in 1895 and changed again to "Ulsan" in 1954 when it became part of South Korea following World War II.
