Aragón

The Aragon region of Spain is a beautiful place to visit, with its stunning mountain ranges, colorful historical towns and vibrant cities. Located in northeastern Spain, the region has been inhabited since prehistoric times and features many sites of interest for visitors.

Popular tourist attractions include the city of Zaragoza - which contains some impressive landmarks such as La Seo Cathedral and La Aljaferia Palace - as well as the Mudejar architecture in Teruel. For outdoor enthusiasts, the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park offers some excellent hiking trails, along with incredible views across this rugged landscape.

Another interesting fact about Aragon is that it was an independent kingdom from 1134 - 1707 before becoming a part of Spain. It developed its own culture and language during this period known as Aragonese, a form of Romance language that is still spoken among some rural communities today.
