Discover Mahón

Mahon is a beautiful city located on the Mediterranean island of Menorca, off the coast of Spain. The capital city's stunning harbor is one of its major attractions and features an impressive array of yachts and sailboats that fill the marina. Visitors can explore the old town with its narrow cobblestone streets and centuries-old buildings, some dating back to medieval times. Many of these structures house shops, cafes and restaurants where visitors can sample local cuisine or shop for souvenirs.

Not far away are two spectacular beaches: Cala de Sant Esteve and Cala Pudent with their crystal clear waters, golden sands and spectacular views perfect for swimming or sunbathing. Nature lovers will find plenty to explore in Mahon; from lush parks to historic sites such as Fort Malvina which offers panoramic views across the harbor from its rooftop terrace. There are also plenty of museums to peruse including Museo Militar de Menorca which houses artifacts from wars past as well as contemporary art galleries exhibiting works by local artists.
