Visit La Gomera

The La Gomera region is an autonomous province of Spain located in the Canary Islands. It is a beautiful destination with lush greenery and incredible landscapes with cliffs, waterfalls, and sandy beaches. A notable feature is its unique language, called 'El Silbo' which is spoken using whistles to communicate over long distances.

For tourists there are plenty of activities to keep them occupied such as hiking trails through Garajonay National Park which have spectacular views from its summit; kayaking on the island's oceanic terrain; or simply relaxing on one of the many beaches. Tourists can also visit the Roque De Agando archaeological site for a glimpse into ancient times or take a memorable ride up San Sebastian cable car for amazing bird's eye view of La Gomera's landscape.

An interesting historical fact about this region is that Christopher Columbus made stops here during his exploration voyage which eventually led him to America.
