Visit La Graciosa

La Graciosa is a Canary Island located off the northwest coast of Africa. It's part of the province of Las Palmas and its only municipality, La Oliva. La Graciosa has a population of fewer than 700 people and its main economic activity is fishing.

Famous for its natural beauty, La Graciosa offers visitors miles of sun-kissed beaches and rugged terrain perfect for exploration. Two must-see places are Caleta de Sebo Beach, located in the central area of the island, it's an incredible beach with crystal-clear waters; and Faro de la Pechina lighthouse with stunning views from atop this 18th century structure.

Another interesting historical fact about La Graciosa is that it was used as a military base during Franco's dictatorship in Spain. The remains from this era can still be seen near Caleta del Sebo beach where several bunkers are preserved as historical monuments to this era in Spanish history.
