Allariz is a picturesque small town in the province of Ourense, Spain. Located on the banks of the River Arnoia, it is known for its beautiful medieval architecture and unique culture. The streets are lined with ancient manor houses, churches and monuments that offer visitors a peek into Galicia's history. Allariz is also well-known for its vibrant local markets selling fresh produce from nearby farms as well as handicrafts from local artisans.

For those looking to soak up some sunshine and get active outdoors, there are plenty of activities to choose from. Visitors can go hiking or biking through some breathtaking scenery in the nearby mountains or take part in one of the many water sports activities such as kayaking or canoeing on the river Arnoia. Two must-see attractions while visiting Allariz are Torre de San Miguel which was once an important military fortress built by King Alfonso IX during his campaign to consolidate royal power over Galicia; and 'A Ponte Vella' which is a bridge over river Arnoia dating back to 1605-1607 designed by famous Spanish architect Diego de Siloe.
