Visit Nevis

The Caribbean island nation of Saint Kitts and Nevis is located in the Leeward Islands of the West Indies. The two-island country consists of Saint Kitts (formerly known as Saint Christopher) and Nevis, separated by a 2 mile wide channel known as 'The Narrows'. Blessed with beautiful landscapes, mountainous terrain and stunning beaches, St. Kitts & Nevis is a popular destination for tourists.

For those seeking adventure, a hike to the top of Mt Liamuiga on St. Kitts offers breathtaking views of nearby islands including Saba and Statia in the Netherlands Antilles. Meanwhile on Nevis, visitors can take part in snorkeling activities at Pinney's Beach or explore historical attractions such as Hamilton House--built by an ancestor of Alexander Hamilton--and ruins from old sugar plantations.

One interesting fact about Saint Kitts & Nevis is that it was one of the first British colonies to become independent back in 1983; however it still remains part of the Commonwealth Realm today with Queen Elizabeth II as its head-of-state.
