Visit White Nile


The White Nile region in Sudan is a picturesque landscape of lush green fields and willow-fringed rivers. It is known for its abundant wildlife, including antelopes, marsh bucks, ibexes, and elephants. Two popular tourist attractions in the White Nile region are Al-Kurru Necropolis and the 3rd Cataract of the Nile River. Al-Kurru Necropolis is an ancient burial site with over 250 tombs from the 4th century BCE to 5th century CE. It was once used by nobles during Nubian dynasties to inter their members who had passed away. The 3rd Cataract of the Nile River is a beautiful set of waterfalls located near Khartoum that offer breathtaking views of the river stretching far into nearby horizons.
