Sodermanland County is one of the traditional provinces of Sweden, located in the east-central part of the country. It is bordered by Vastmanland, Uppsala, Stockholm, Ostergotland, and Orebro Counties.

The region features a wide variety of natural areas - from forests and lakes to hills and valleys - making it a great destination for outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing. The main cities in Sodermanland County are Nykoping, Eskilstuna, and Trosa. Tourists can enjoy the majestic Nykopingshus Castle which dates back to 1287 or explore the medieval city center of Eskilstuna with its cobblestone streets.
