Visit Ḩimş


The Hims is a region of Syria located in the central-western part of the country. It is known for its lush landscape, featuring rolling hills, deep valleys, and vibrant green plains. Tourists are drawn to this area due to its rich cultural heritage and spectacular views. Two popular sites to visit are Ugarit, an ancient port city featuring some of the oldest alphabetic writing ever discovered; and Tell Halaf, an archaeological site that contains amazing stone sculptures from the Neolithic period.
