Visit Changhua County


Changhua County is located in western Taiwan and is home to a population of over 1.37 million people. It is known for its beautiful scenery, charming countryside towns and vibrant cultural attractions. The county includes farmland and scenic mountain views, as well as a coastline along the Taiwan Strait. Changhua's main tourist attractions are the Lukang Old Street, where visitors can find traditional vendors selling local delicacies and souvenirs, Longfeng Temple which is renowned for its intricate stone carvings and statues around the complex, and Beidou Fishing Port where guests can experience firsthand fishing culture of the area.

One interesting fact about Changhua County's history is that it was part of Japan's occupation during World War II from 1895-1945 when they renamed it Nanshe Prefecture. Today you can still find many remnants from this period such as Japanese style streetscapes in Lukang Old Street that have been preserved over time - making them an even more unique experience for visitors to explore!
