Lienchiang County, commonly referred to as Matsu, is an archipelago located off the coast of Taiwan in the Taiwan Strait. The region consists of a chain of 12 islands and several smaller islets ranging from 3 to 20 square kilometers in size. Home to approximately 50 thousand people, Lienchiang County has rich cultural heritage and gorgeous landscapes that make it a great destination for tourists.

The Beiguan Tidal Park is one of the main attractions in Lienchiang County.
