Visit Singida

Singida is a region located in Tanzania, East Africa. With an area of 44,030 km2 and a population of 1.5 million people, the majority of which are farmers, Singida is known for being one of the most fertile agricultural regions in Tanzania. The region has many tourist attractions to offer, such as the Nzuguni Nature Reserve - home to diverse wildlife species including antelopes and giraffes - and Singida Hill Fort - a historical fort built by German colonists in 1890 offering stunning views over the surrounding landscape.

When it comes to history, Singida's roots go back to ancient times when it was part of a powerful kingdom covering much of central Tanzania until 1891 when it was colonized by Germany. Today visitors can explore local artifacts from this period at various archaeological sites including Kalampanga Cave which holds stone tools used by inhabitants thousands of years ago.
