Discover Amphoe Bang Klam

 
Amphoe Bang Klam is a district located in the province of Songkhla, Thailand. It is situated in the southern part of Thailand bordering Malaysia to the south. Its capital, Hat Yai, is a popular tourist destination for both domestic and international tourists. The district is known for its beaches, beautiful temples and vibrant night markets.

One of the highlights of visiting Amphoe Bang Klam is admiring Wat Hat Yai Nai or "big temple" which was built over two centuries ago in order to pay homage to Lord Buddha. Also worth seeing are Sunee lake and park where visitors can enjoy peaceful scenery while spotting exotic birds such as white-bellied sea eagles and little egrets.

Travelers also won't want to miss out on sampling some authentic local cuisine at one of the many street stalls found throughout Amphoe Bang Klam selling delicious dishes like Pad Thai, Nam prik (Thai chili paste) or Kanom jeen (rice noodles).
