Visit Tak

The Tak province of Thailand is located in the western region of the country and is bordered by Myanmar. It is known for its lush green forests and mountainous terrain full of rivers, waterfalls, and hot springs. The area is rich in culture and history, making it an attractive destination for both domestic and international visitors alike.

The Phu Soi Dao National Park is a popular spot to visit while in Tak. This park offers stunning views of mountains covered with dense forests that are home to a variety of wildlife including tigers, leopards, gibbons, deer, bears, wild boar, porcupines and many species of birds. Visitors can also take part in trekking through the park or enjoy camping under the stars.

Another interesting historical fact about Tak is its involvement during World War II when allied forces used it as a base to launch raids against Japanese forces occupying parts of Thailand. Today there are several memorials present throughout the province dedicated to those who served during this time period.
