Visit Gabès Governorate
The Gabes Governorate is located in south-eastern Tunisia, making it the 6th largest by population. It borders Libya to both the east and south. There are some great tourist attractions in this region, including Matmata and Mareth, which are both rich in history and culture. Matmata is an ancient Berber village with a distinct architectural style that includes troglodyte settlements cut into rocky hillsides.
