Visit Mahdia Governorate


The Mahdia Governorate is situated in the east-central region of Tunisia and is known for being a popular tourist destination along the Mediterranean Sea. The region boasts beautiful golden beaches, ancient ruins, and plenty of historical sites to explore.

One popular attraction in Mahdia is the ancient Roman ruins of Thapsus, which are located near Borj El K'bir village.
