Visit Zaporizhzhya Oblast


The Zaporizhzhya Oblast is a region located in the south eastern part of Ukraine. It has a population of 1.6 million people and covers an area of approximately 27,000 square kilometers. The landscape is characterized by grassy steppes, rolling hills and many rivers that flow through its borders.

Travelers visiting Zaporizhzhya will find plenty to do and see here. Tourists can explore the Khortytsia Island which houses a unique museum complex dedicated to Ukrainian history, culture and folklore or admire the beauty of Dnipro River from one of the nearby old ferry crossings.
