The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center is a marvel of Islamic architecture located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is named after the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder and first president of the UAE, whose final resting place is on the mosque grounds. This magnificent structure, which can accommodate over 40,000 worshippers, is one of the world's largest mosques and is renowned for its stunning design featuring 82 domes, over 1,000 columns, and the world's largest hand-knotted carpet.
Visitors to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center can marvel at the exquisite detail of the mosque's interior, which includes gold-plated chandeliers studded with Swarovski crystals and walls adorned with precious stones. The mosque's reflective pools, which amplify its beauty during the night, and the floral design in the courtyard made from colored marble are other must-see attractions.
