Book your tickets in advance - ticket prices are cheaper when booked online and can be printed or presented on a mobile device. 2. Arrive early - the palace is open from 9am and queues can get very long, so make sure you arrive at least 30 minutes before opening time to avoid disappointment! 3. Take advantage of audio guides - these give detailed information about the Palace’s history and architecture in different languages including English, French, German, Spanish and Italian as well as Mandarin Chinese and Japanese!
4. Wear comfortable shoes - there is plenty to see inside so comfortable shoes are essential for exploring all the corridors & chambers around Westminster Hall without feeling tired afterwards!
5. Bring an umbrella - London weather can change quickly with rain being common throughout most of the year so always come prepared with an umbrella just in case!
