Discover Omagh

Located in the Tyrone county of Northern Ireland, Omagh is a charming city known for its vibrant culture and relaxed atmosphere. It was once the site of an ancient Christian monastery, and today it stands as a popular tourist destination. Being close to both the scenic Sperrin Mountains and Lough Neagh, Omagh offers visitors a variety of outdoor activities like walking, hiking, fishing, cycling, golfing and more.

The city center is full of unique shopping opportunities with local vendors selling handmade crafts and products from nearby farms. There are also plenty of cafes serving up traditional Irish cuisine alongside international favorites. Visitors will also find several museums worth exploring such as the Ulster American Folk Park which tells the story of emigration during 19th century America or one dedicated to telling stories about World War I.

No visit to Omagh would be complete without seeing Strule Arts Centre which provides entertainment in music, theater and dance for all ages throughout the year.
