Grand Canyon National Park is a popular tourist destination located in the city of Grand Canyon Village, Arizona. It is one of the most iconic natural attractions in the United States and its size and beauty never fail to impress visitors. The canyon is 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide, and over a mile deep. Its stunning red rocks formations have been carved by the Colorado River for centuries, creating breathtaking views from all angles.
For those visiting Grand Canyon National Park there are plenty of things to do and see. Take a mule ride down into the canyon or catch stunning sunset views from Hopi Point. Marvel at some of the plantlife found inside like cacti, yucca plants, and desert wildflowers during sunny days or take part in ranger-led activities such as night sky viewing or full moon hikes. Make sure to also explore Bright Angel Trail for an amazing look at geology or pack your swimsuit for a dip into Havasu Falls on your visit!
