Discover Winslow

 
Winslow is a small city tucked in the hills of east central Arizona, United States. With a population of only 9,655 people, Winslow offers spectacular scenery and an abundance of outdoor activities. The city was founded in 1882 and is home to the historic La Posada Hotel, which has been designated as a National Historic Landmark. Its iconic railroad station served as an inspiration for the famous Eagles song "Take it Easy" written by Jackson Brown and Glenn Frey.

While visiting Winslow you can explore its historic downtown area with unique shops and restaurants while admiring its beautiful natural surroundings. Outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, horseback riding and fishing are available in nearby areas like Homolovi State Park or Meteor Crater Natural Landmark both located within easy reach from downtown Winslow. Old Trails Museum located on Historic Route 66 is another great place to visit that offers visitors insight into the local history through its exhibits showcasing artifacts from the old west days combined with modern interactive displays.
