California, known as the Golden State, is one of the most popular states in the US. It's home to some of the most iconic cities and landscapes in America, such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Yosemite National Park. There are plenty of amazing sites to see in California.

Historically, California was once part of Mexico and was acquired by the United States after the Mexican-American War. After becoming part of the US, it quickly become a major hub for many industries such as agriculture, entertainment, and technology. The state has grown exponentially since then and is now the most populous in America.

If you're looking for a unique experience, consider visiting the Hearst Castle in San Simeon or the mysterious Salton Sea near Palm Springs. Both locations offer incredible views and provide an opportunity to explore a different side of the state.
