Point of Interest, Beach, Hike

Carbon Canyon Regional Park, located in the city of Brea in the United States, is a 124-acre outdoor recreational facility known for its diverse range of flora and fauna. The park is a haven for nature enthusiasts and offers a variety of recreational activities such as hiking, fishing, and picnicking, with facilities including tennis courts and baseball fields.

One of the main attractions of the park is the 4-acre lake, home to various species of fish. Another must-see is the Redwood Grove, the only coastal redwood grove in Orange County, which houses about 200 coastal redwood trees. The park’s scenic trails provide an excellent opportunity for bird watching and enjoying the natural beauty of the area.

Plan your visit

  1. Pack plenty of water and snacks as there are no food vendors at the park.
  2. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, as hiking trails in the park can be steep and uneven terrain.
  3. Be aware of all wildlife in the area, including rattlesnakes, mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes and other wild animals - especially during summer months when they’re most active.
  4. Bring sunscreen to protect against sunburns on hikes or just relaxing at one of the many picnic tables located throughout Carbon Canyon Regional Park grounds!
  5. Make sure to check out all the views from any of Carbon Canyon’s lookouts points for incredible photos or peaceful moments admiring nature’s beauty!
