Discover Cabazon
The city is best known for its outlet stores at Cabazon Outlets and Desert Hills Premium Outlets. They are visited by tourists from all over the country who come for discounted designer apparel and accessories.
Nature-lovers can visit Cabazon Dinosaurs where they can admire two giant dinosaur sculptures: Mr Rex and Mrs Rex (also known as Dinny). They have been erected since 1975 as part of an effort by Claude Bell to attract visitors to his creation: Wheel Inn Restaurant & Motel.
Other attractions include Hadley Fruit Orchards where visitors can pick fresh oranges, lemons and other fruit varieties during certain months of the year; The Cactus Mart which features hundreds of cacti, succulents, palms and other desert plants; The Living Desert Zoo & Gardens which offers walking trails through 12 acres of wildlife habitats; The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway which takes passengers up 8500 feet above sea level with spectacular views along the way; or San Jacinto State Park with its great hiking trails.
