Discover Coronado
One of Coronado's most famous attractions is the iconic Hotel del Coronado which has been host to royalty, celebrities and presidents since opening in 1888. Movie fans will recognize it from Some Like It Hot starring Marilyn Monroe. Coronado Beach is also a must-see with its powdery sand stretching for miles along the sparkling ocean waters. Adventure seekers can explore the tide pools at low tide or go for a walk on Glorietta Bay or take part in sailing races at Silver Strand State Park located just south of town. Finally, visitors should make sure explore historic Coronado Village with its unique architecture and charming boutiques for an enjoyable day out on the town.
