Top of the World is a scenic lookout point located in the city of Laguna Beach, United States. It offers stunning views of the coastline and surrounding hills, as well as glimpses into downtown Laguna Beach and beyond. The spot is especially popular among locals due to its easy access by car or on foot via staircases carved into the hillside.
When visiting Top of the World, make sure to bring your camera–the breathtaking panoramic views are not to be missed! Be sure to check out nearby landmarks such as Soka University, Thousand Steps Beach and Aliso Creek Canyon. You can even look out for dolphins swimming in the Pacific ocean from this high vantage point!
Plan your visit
- Bring a camera to capture the stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and shoreline.
- Wear comfortable shoes as you’ll be walking around during your visit, and possibly trekking over uneven surfaces in some areas.
- Be prepared for variable weather conditions, such as strong winds and rain at times of year, so bring appropriate clothing with you to stay warm and dry, no matter what the forecast says!
- Arrive early or late in the day to avoid crowds if possible; however note that parking can be limited during peak seasons or busy days/times around holidays.
