The USS Midway Museum in San Diego is an awe-inspiring destination that celebrates America’s naval history. Located on the historic Navy Pier, visitors can explore the massive aircraft carrier with its multiple decks and displays of artifacts and photos from WWII to present day. The museum also features full scale aircrafts, like the F-14 Tomcat fighter jet and exhibits such as “Battle of Midway Theater” which offers a 3D film about the famous one-day naval battle in 1942. Not to be missed are two authentic flight simulators for an exciting experience of taking off from the Midway’s runway!
