Colorado was admitted as the 38th state on August 1st, 1876; only four days before America celebrated its centennial anniversary on July 4th 1876. This makes Colorado one of the oldest states in America!

Two places to visit in Colorado are Rocky Mountain National Park and Garden of The Gods. At Rocky Mountain National Park you can explore more than 400 miles of trails for outdoor recreation or just take in views of Longs Peak or Trail Ridge Road. Garden Of The Gods is known for its sandstone formations and spectacular views that showcase some of nature's best artwork throughout its park-like setting.
