The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Denver of the Roman Catholic Church. It is located at the corner of Logan Street and Colfax Avenue in the North Capitol Hill neighborhood of central Denver.

Plan your visit

  1. Make sure to dress respectfully when visiting the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. Modest attire should be worn out of respect for this Catholic church; shorts and tank tops are not permitted.

  2. Take advantage of all its offerings, including Masses, concerts, lectures and other celebrations that take place within its walls throughout the year.

  3. Don’t forget to check out the religious artwork on display in various parts of cathedral, including beautiful stained glass windows which are illuminated by natural light during the day as well as by electric lights at night - an impressive sight!

  4. Make time to explore some of special features such as two grand organs (Pleasantry and Grandeur) which contain over 18000 pipes combined - a sight you’ll likely never see anywhere else!

  5. Have your camera ready - Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is a photographer’s dream! There are many unique angles that can make for great photos or maintain notes on what you found interesting or inspiring about your visit to share with others later down-the-line
