Visit Delaware

The state of Delaware is one of the smallest in the United States, but it's famous for its rich history and beautiful scenery. The area was first settled by Dutch settlers in 1638 and soon became a part of the United States after being one of the original 13 colonies. Today, Delaware is known as "The First State" because it was the first to ratify the U.S. Constitution in 1787.

A great way to explore Delaware is to visit its capital city - Dover - or take a trip down to Lewes, which has been nicknamed "The Nation's Summer Capital" due to its large vacation population during summer months. Both locations offer plenty of attractions such as museums, art galleries, beaches and parks that are worth visiting when you're looking for some fun activities or just want a relaxing day out with friends and family.

Delaware also has some interesting historical sites like Fort Miles at Cape Henlopen State Park located near Lewes, which was used by both British forces during World War II as well as American troops during World War I and II; this makes it an interesting place for history buffs alike! Lastly, Delaware has plenty of charming towns like Rehoboth Beach where visitors can enjoy shopping and dining options along with amazing views from their boardwalk beachfront restaurants.
