The Kennedy Space Center is an iconic and historic American landmark, located in Merritt Island, Florida. It is the home of America’s space exploration program where rockets and spacecrafts have been launched since the 1960s. As a visitor to the Kennedy Space Center you can learn about the history of space exploration through interactive exhibits and multimedia presentations. You will also get to see first-hand how astronauts train for their mission as well as tour inside Launch Complex 39A (the launch pad used by Apollo 11).
The amazing Rocket Garden offers a view of some of the spacecrafts that were used in past missions from both NASA and other countries. There are also two large buildings dedicated to educating visitors about space science - KSC Lab & Exploration

Planning your visit to the Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island is easy with these tips: 1) Book tickets in advance to guarantee entry, as tickets often sell out quickly. 2) Wear comfortable walking shoes and sunscreen for exploring outdoors. 3) Pack a picnic lunch or snacks as food selections are limited at the park. 4) Take advantage of audio tours and interactive exhibits for an even more engaging experience. 5) Check the weather before heading out so you can plan accordingly. Don’t forget a raincoat if needed! 6) Get there early to explore all the attractions–including IMAX movies, shuttle launch simulations, rocket launches and astronaut encounters–without feeling rushed.
