Makena Beach, also known as Big Beach, is a stunning location nestled in the city of Wailea-Makena, United States. It’s one of Maui’s largest beaches, stretching nearly 1.5 miles long and 100 yards wide, offering plenty of space for visitors to enjoy the pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters.
While visiting Makena Beach, guests can take in the breathtaking views of Molokini, a crescent-shaped, partially submerged volcanic crater, and Kahoolawe Island. The beach is also a perfect spot for activities like sunbathing, picnicking, and bodyboarding. However, the highlight for many is the opportunity to witness the spectacular Hawaiian sunset, a sight that never fails to amaze.
