Indiana is the 17th most populous state in the United States and is known for its rolling hills, friendly people, and Midwestern culture. Popular attractions include White River State Park in Indianapolis, home to a number of cultural institutions such as the Indianapolis Zoo and the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art. The nearby town of Bloomington boasts a lively music scene, home to Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music; while Brown County State Park offers miles of trails through lush woodlands.

For history buffs visiting Indiana, Fort Wayne has several interesting sites including Fort Wayne History Center with exhibits on local history and art; as well as The Old Fort with its reenactments of life during the Revolutionary War period. Also not to be missed is Abraham Lincoln's boyhood home in Spencer County - part of Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial which includes a replica farmstead from his days growing up here.
