Services:
Mouse’s Tank is an easy 0.7 mile (1.1 km) out-and-back hike in Valley of Fire State Park. Even if the trail is relatively flat all the way, bring good shoes as you will hike in sand for almost of it.
Plan your visit
- Wear comfortable shoes and clothing as the terrain can be uneven and rocky in places.
- Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated while exploring the area.
- Check with rangers for any updates on hikes or road closures before visiting, especially during summer months when temperatures are higher in the desert climate.
- Be aware of any wildlife that may be present such as snakes and other small animals - keep children close at all times!
- Most importantly, bring a camera to capture all of your amazing outdoor memories!
