The Andijan Region of Uzbekistan is located in the easternmost part of the Fergana Valley. It is known for its lush green landscapes, as well as its many historical sites. The capital city, Andijan, is a popular tourist destination due to its traditional architecture and rich cultural attractions. A must-see in this region is the Khoja Akhrar Vali Complex, which consists of several old mosques and mausoleums from the 15th century. Visitors can also explore one of the oldest cities in Central Asia - Margilan - where they will find colorful markets selling embroidery and handmade silk carpets.

One interesting historical fact about Andijan Region is that it was an important center for religious learning during medieval times; scholars would travel from all parts of Central Asia to study at its many madrassas (religious schools). Today it continues to be an important part of Uzbekistan's cultural heritage and draws visitors from around the world.
