Visit Aragua


The Aragua region of Venezuela is known for its historical and cultural sites, as well as its vibrant nature. Located in the northern part of the country, Aragua borders both the Caribbean Sea and Lake Valencia. The area was once home to Amerindian tribes and later became an important agricultural center in colonial times.

One of the most popular tourist spots in Aragua is Henri Pittier National Park, a sprawling protected area that contains diverse wildlife and stunning scenery. Another must-see location is La Capilla del Hombre, a museum dedicated to Venezuelan artist Carlos Cruz-Diez which offers visitors an insight into local art and culture from around the world.
